I have not posted in this blog for over a year. I need to change that. We are in the midst of summer. Kids are loving being able to stay up late. I am exhausted most days.
I've been working on the new site and trying to get its rankings back up. David is doing ok in real estate. It can always be better.
About to head to soccer practice. (I wish I had not committed to this for summer but here we are).
Cant wait to be clean in my pj's enjoying a family movie on the couch.

September almost Gone!
I have not been here in a while. But The girls have started kinder. Peighton is well adjusted to 3rd grade. And sports have kicked in for all.
September is almost gone.
Busy schedules. Saturday 2 soccer games. Sunday 2 soccer games and a birthday.
Ready for the holidays to begin so we can take a break.

Forgot to Blog
I totally forgot about this blog. It is hard for me to remember to journal and blog. There is so much to do in the day that by the end I just want to lay down.
Yesterday while I was walking Peighton to school he asked how were baby bunnys made. Before I could begin my answer he said do they have bunny surrogates. It was quite funny.
Then today BraqElle saw a picture of Jessics Simpson pregnant and was like "wow"! Then she asked why is her tummy so big. I told her she had a baby in her tummy. She said well did she swallow it. I thought I was going to fall out.
The things these kids say just crack me up.
HGTV contacted David from his site and asked if he knew of a family in Frisco that would be interested in being in the magazine. He gave them our info and they are supposed to come out and take pictures of the house this month.
Peighton's soccer is about to wrap up for the season (thank goodness - my arms are all burnt up). He enjoys sports so much. It is cool to watch.
The girls are finally starting to write their name. They know the entire alphabet, remember most of the sounds and are really starting to get it. I plan to really work with them hard over this summer. They should be quite ready by next year!
I will try to remember to blog each day from now on. If not, then I will be back in a few months.

Thank God its Friday once again
I just sent Peighton off to school with his Dad and even though I was smiling and blowing kisses I still felt a little meloncoly as he walked away. Some have told me that feeling will go away by the time they get into middle school - partially because their attitudes change dramatically around then (lol). But I do miss him during the day.
We plan on going to a Texas Legends game tonight with a friend of mine from high school and her family - who just happens to live in the neighborhood next to ours. Then its off to bed early for the kiddos.
As tomorrow we have another basketball game early at 8am. If I could get my 4 best players to play at their best and if I could get my worst 3 to just pay attention, not loose interest, stop starting off into the distance, dancing around and to just be present....I think we could win it. We will see. Will probably go to breakfast with grandpa Homer after the game. He enjoys it.....
I thinking that business is about to start picking up. It needs to... Now that I have managed to get David's real estate website back in the swing of things and moving upward I hope that will start to pick up with natural clients as well.
Just sent out Peightons evites for his birthday. He is allowed to invite 7 kids. We could push for the girls to have friends over but at this age....I dont know if it is really worth all the drama to make that happen. Peighton did not get to invite kids to his party until he was 5 and at that point he was old enough to appreciate it and remember it. So I think we will do the same for the girls.
Now that I am over my cold I guess it is time to get back to exercising. I hate that I need to constantly encourage and baby sit Davids exercising regime but he is once again getting poochy (because I have not been pushing him to be active) and its not cute. I really dont see why I have to coach him to do it when he can see his stomach just like I can. It is frustrating!
Now it is off to handle the girls and try to get some work done for today.

A day of working on the Family Blog
Day 2 of trying to set up this blog. It is showing to be time consuming so I am going to drop it for now and just move on.
Meanwhile, Peighton and I are sick with a horrible cold. My right nasal is miserable - once again.
We are trying to get this first quarter going so we can get back on top of things and put the girls back in school. The background noise is driving me crazy. Hoping to put them back in first of February right before their birthday.
Yesterday it was 30 degrees when we woke up tomorrow it will be 75 when we pick up Peighton from school. This is not good. What kind of winter....
